Skills for Effective Proposal Writing (NGOs) - Our team at Nirmana Nepal have years of experience in preparing proposals for large, international donors, across a number of sectors. We are able to offer insight to allow you and your team to go beyond the jargon, see beneath the subtext, and ultimately give you the skills to give your proposal the best opportunity.
Usually this training is offered to small groups of senior managers, and lasts 1-2days depending on your needs. This training is delivered in a seminar format, with close interaction and discussion with participants, and sometimes can involve some homework!
Planning, Implementing and Evaluating Assessments (NGOs) - Through their professional lives, the team at Nirmana Nepal has a lot of experience with assessments, and believe in their power for informing effective projects and an evidence-based approach. A good baseline assessment can vastly improve the efficacy of an intervention, just as a good endline assessment can help improve the chances of a successful project receiving funding to be repeated elsewhere. We can offer you the skills to develop and employ powerful surveys, and look beyond the data to find meaningful conclusions.
This training can be 1-2days depending on your needs, and is usually run with no more than 10 participants.
Maximize your MEAL (NGOs) - Whilst long being an effective tool for any good NGO, MEAL (Monitoring, Evaluation, Learning and Accountability) are becoming much more integral to the work of NGOs. Nirmana Nepal's "Maximize your MEAL" training course offers less experienced M&E professionals the opportunity to look at MEAL in the framework of program cycle management, thus gaining knowledge of tools and skills to be used all through program implementation. We will look at designing and managing databases, accountability planning field visits, prioritizing deadlines, shared learning, partnership working (internal and external), donor requirements & report writing, and implementation of overall MEAL framework across multi-sector, multi-regional programs.
This training can be linked with "Planning, Implementing and Evaluating Assessments", or can be held on it's own.
